HubSpot for Fintech
HubSpot for fintech teams that need CRM without compliance debt
Fintech HubSpot setups have to handle KYC state, audit trails, and segregated personal/financial data without turning the CRM into a regulatory headache.
Fintech HubSpot work has constraints other industries don't: KYC state on the contact record (without storing the underlying documents in the CRM), audit-friendly workflow history, role-based permissions tighter than HubSpot's defaults, and tight integration with the rest of the regulated stack.

FAQ
- Can HubSpot store KYC documents?
Technically yes, practically no. KYC documents should stay in the KYC provider's vault. HubSpot stores the pass/fail state and the reference ID — never the document itself.
- Is HubSpot SOC 2 / ISO 27001 compliant?
HubSpot itself is SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified. That doesn't make your portal automatically compliant — your own configuration matters.
- How do you handle PII for non-regulated contacts?
Same as any HubSpot portal — consent-captured at form, lawful basis tracked, subject access workflow documented.
