HubSpot onboarding cost — what you actually pay in 2026
There are two onboarding bills people confuse: HubSpot's own mandatory onboarding fee, and the partner who actually does the configuration. Here are the real numbers for both.
"How much does HubSpot onboarding cost?" has two answers because there are two separate things being bought. HubSpot charges a one-time onboarding fee on Pro and Enterprise tiers (or waives it if you onboard through a Solutions Partner). Separately, a Solutions Partner charges to actually configure the portal for your business. We publish our onboarding prices, so this page gives you concrete numbers instead of "it depends."

- Is HubSpot onboarding mandatory?
On Pro and Enterprise tiers, yes — HubSpot requires onboarding. You can satisfy it either by paying HubSpot's one-time fee and using their guided onboarding, or by onboarding through a Solutions Partner (which waives HubSpot's fee). Starter tiers have no mandatory onboarding.
- Can a partner waive HubSpot's onboarding fee?
Yes. When you onboard through a HubSpot Solutions Partner, HubSpot typically waives its own onboarding fee because the partner is delivering the onboarding. That waiver offsets part of the partner's cost.
- How much does HubSpot onboarding cost for a single Hub?
HubSpot's own fee is roughly $1,500 (Sales/Service Pro) to $3,000 (Marketing Pro). Our done-for-you fixed-scope onboarding is $2,500-$3,600 per Hub depending on which one, with HubSpot's fee waived.
- What's the cheapest way to onboard HubSpot?
Paying HubSpot's fee and doing the configuration yourself is cheapest in dollars. But it's the most expensive in time and rework — most DIY teams pay for an audit within a year. Fixed-scope partner onboarding is the best value once you account for time and avoided mistakes.
